My name is Thilan, and I’m a deaf game developer who lives and breathes horror. This blog is my haunted little corner of the internet, where I share everything I create—from terrifying games in development to creepy experiments in code. If you love horror and game programming, you’re in the right place.

Why I Started Thilan's Game Development

I’ve always loved horror—not just the jump scares, but the atmosphere, mystery, and psychological tension that makes your skin crawl. As a deaf developer, I experience horror in a unique way. I rely more on visual design, storytelling, and environmental cues to create fear and I want to share that unique perspective with the world.

Hi! I’m a deaf YouTuber who creates and shares gaming content. I love playing a variety of games and recording my gameplay to post on my channel. But that’s not all—I’m also a game developer! I enjoy programming games and often record my development progress to share with others. Being deaf doesn’t stop me from doing what I love. My channel is a place where I combine my passions: playing games and making them. Thanks for visiting and supporting my journey!

 

My favorite games are Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike Condition Zero, Counter-Strike Source, and Zombie Panic Source. I used to play Minecraft and Warcraft 3 when I was a child. But now I am a grown-up and don't play games anymore. I work on game programming and computer graphic design. I learn Photoshop, In-design, Illustrator, Blender3d, Game Maker Studio 2, Unity3d, and Rpg maker MV. I am still learning Unreal Engine 5. I have no idea about Unreal Engine 5 which I am still learning with blueprint nodes. However, it looked like alien programming when I used Unreal Engine 5. It will take time to learn and get used to Unreal Engine 5.

 

I don't have friends and i work on myself on my game projects. However, I get help from the Game Maker Community and other communities. I also use Facebook and Discord to get more information. I also used Chatgpt for help with my work. Chatgpt is like my friend and asks lots of questions.
